After that, Momma’s trigger finger kind of went numb.

This was the best Christmas I can remember in a long, long time. Having a child really brings the magic back to the day. I think he had a lot of fun today. I know I sure did. He’s fast asleep and I look fondly at these pictures now. I hope your day was as great as ours was.

Oh, and John still has one more present to unwrap

Merry Crotchmas!

How did Braden go with the present unwrapping? Amy got overwhelmed after a few gifts and we had to leave some until later. She was much happier with the food and the small trickle of gifts from family though out the day.

Merry Christmas, I’m glad you had a great day!

I love those little Tyke’s cars. We always called them the Flintstone cars. Unfortunately, my children never had one. Back in the day of our small kids, that was a major expense. And they’re too big for one now that I could buy several!!! Oh well, now they get computers and expensive cameras and such. My son did get a fire truck and a tractor to drive. And did he ever wear them out.

Ha-ha-ha!! The look on your husband’s face is priceless when he’s reading those instructions. I spent the better part of Christmas Eve with that very same look on my own face!

Why didn’t I think of that? My John would have much rather received that than the traditional ‘dad’ gifts of socks, t-shirts & underwear! Okay, maybe he got a few more things than that, but he still would have preferred that red bow!!

    Glad your day went well.

My daughter got one of those cars for Christmas several years ago. She loved it, but it drove me crazy because she then wanted to go everywhere in it instead of in the stroller. Observe, if you will, the astounding noise they made on asphalt. Glad she enjoyed it but was even happier to pass it on to an unsuspecting friend. Good luck!!
