i know that this is rather late, but we went through the same thing with kenzie's heiny when she was on constant anti-b's for her UTI's that she suffered. We used bactarin ointment on open sores, when she got them. the 'regular' ointment was calmospetine like someone said it is used in nursing homes on bedsores(oh it really helps itchy rashes too) and was a god send. Triple Paste is really good too(but the tubes are teeny) but only work as a preventative. Also we used to(and still do sometimes) add baking soda to her bath water since it is a pH nuetralizer...

Yeesh, lady. I don't know what else to suggest. Except... hmm...

Did I send you some lavender soap? It can be calming to the skin rather than other cleansers you may be using. Let's discuss.

I totally feel your pain with this. Aidan has had chronic diaper rash (well, loss of the top layer of skin like you described to the point of having blisters). I think it has mostly been because of his teething because for a short while, he was fine. Now that he's teething again, it resurfaced, but I was able to handle it better after all the efforts we made before. We used EVERYTHING under the sun. We just buy the A&D ointment and LOAD it on after he poops or if he gets slightly pink on his hiney.

We also dry him with his burp cloths since we no longer use them to burp him.

He is also sensitive to orange foods.
