I bribed the hell out of potty training. Then, when we encountered the same naked PRO/Clothed AM moments? I took away her diapers. She was stuck in the panties, since I knew she knew what she was doing. Then I got all drill sargent and set up a calendar with stars for days without accidents and told her that if she kept peeing in her pants, I was going to take THOSE away, too. I got a tip from some parenting guru 16 years ago when potty training my son. He did not have accidents. The tip was to gently whisper in his ear every hour or two (yes through the night too) for about a month. 'honey do you have to go to the bathroom?' It didn't wake him up he sort of groggily said no or if he said yes then I would guide him sleeping to the potty and stand with him, or sit depending on the need, while he did hid business. When we are -trained- then we wake ourselves in the night to go when we have to. But we have to learn this. Best potty training advice I ever got. You know together we have one potty trained kid. Mine only poops in the potty… no pee. But I hope, we have a nakey weekend coming up.
