BEWB FEST ’10
It’s the most wonderful time of the year – no, not Christmas…
it’s time for BEWB FEST!
We get to enjoy nature’s bountiful chest selection… and raise money to fight breast cancer in the process. A big thanks to @shutterblog for putting a bug in my brain last year about donating ad revenue for good. *ALL* my BH Ad Revenue for July is going to go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. This will become an annual tradition for the month that Bewb Fest runs.
Bring page loads to this site this month if you want to drive that number up. And please consider donating directly to Susan G. Komen – many people only think about this in October, but we need to give cancer the finger all year long.

*I have placed no restriction on the number of times you can vote. There is a blurb on the Polldaddy website that mentions that you may get a message indicating you are blocked for a time period >> “This is because we have received too many votes from your I.P. address. You will be unblocked again in about 4 hours.” No verbage on how many is too many. So just roll with it, and please don’t complain to me if you hit the wall.

We voted for BEWBS 1, 14 and 15…and MEWB #5. Tough competition though.

Well, I did some boob linkage on my blog and said the first person to guess my boobs would win a prize. The person who won got a $5 Amazon gift card, but said she’d rather have the money donated (which, hello? AWESOME much?).
So I’m matching the $5, and doubling it, and doubling THAT. Everybody wins.

Anyone else getting trolls on their blog? I got a very nasty comment on my Bewb Fest post.

Hey, Chantel, I’m sorry that happened to you. Unfortunately, it will happen from time to time for whatever reason. People can be very rude online. I took at look at your troll, and she’s really just ridiculous. My best advice (if you care to hear it) is to delete her comments and block her from your site if you can. (There are plugins you can use to ban people/IPs). I used to get very upset/answer/fight with trolls, but somewhere along the way I realized that I was letting those jerks take up time and emotion in my life. So now I just push them aside and move on. Don’t give her an audience. You’re helping me do something good – that’s all that matters.

Lotus, I’ve deleted the comments. I’ve figured out who it is as well. It’s someone I know. It definitely wasn’t my participation in Bewb Fest that started this. It was just the most recent post on my blog when they found it.
I’m going to check into the plug-ins you mentioned. For now I have comment moderation on which is a bummer.
I’m happy that I was a part of Bewb Fest! I’ll be back next year and the next and the next! Can’t wait for the wrap up post.
