Okay, so he doesn’t recommend any “happy, little trees.” And, yeah, that was pretty groovy.
Instead he instructs us to “add awhatta bwooo.”
Cute factor? Score.

Too darn cute. I love how excited about painting he is. Great idea! Take the messy paint OUTSIDE! brilliant! One question do the no spill paint pots really work or did he manage to spill the paint anyway?
#2 by Sarcastic Mom, aka Lotus on March 30, 2009 - 11:46 AM
@shannon,
He was really good with it, and never spilled it! In fact, he got the right paint brush in the right jar all but one time, too, after I explained the concept to him when I first set it all up. I was seriously impressed.
He did fling some paint onto the concrete, and I just smiled, because it rained later that day. Inside, I’d have been mopping that off the kitchen floor! (and wall? bleh)

Oh my gosh, that is so cute. I just want to come up there and spend time with him.
I also want to
1. what posessed you to put Braden in all white when PAINTING?
2. How the heck did he stay paint free?

@Suzanne,
1. That’s an el cheapo white shirt (comes in a pack of 6, I think) and those are his training pants – no other color choices. The socks? He just wanted them on, and well, they’re just socks. I wasn’t really stressed that he’d get all “painty.” Colors are fun anyway. LOL
2. He got it on his face and all over his hands, by the time he was done. But how he kept it off his clothes? I HAVE NO IDEA! He got it on the ground, too. Go figure.

Bob Ross also would have been frightening if he did it in a t shirt and diaper – he is adorable

@A Jill of All Trades,
Braden LOVES that thing. It has a chalk board on one side, and that side with the paper also has a dry erase board under the paper. It’s Melissa&Doug, and I got it from Good For The Kids (see the button on my left sidebar). Make sure you buy the box of supplies to go with it and you’ll get pain, chalk, marker, and paper.

The video was awesome! And from the photo we see he is a ‘two-fisted’ painter… that is some serious artist skillz.
