Amy is definitely not getting any. Not at all. Then again, anything she did would actually be an improvement.

    Did it come off okay?

  • Go forth and purchase thyself a box of “Magic Erasers” from the cleaning section of your local supermarket.

The commercials don’t lie. They are magic. And they erase. They are especially magical with marks on walls left by vindictive toddlers.

    March 26, 2008
  • Oh no . . . you do have one of those magic erasers, right?

  • I work in a kindy and kids write on anything….I especially like it when they write their own name whether it is in Japanese or English it sure does narrow down the suspects!

In case it didn`t come straight off magic erasers or those eraser sponges with floor cleaner has been the best cleaner I have found!

At first I was afraid to look. I thought the walls might be brown and the paintbrush his hand!! ;)

he worried Mom in me wonders why they make a kids block without a coating on it? That is not good that it comes off so easily, especially with the little ones that put things in their mouth. Lead is not in newer paint unless it was made in China.

Magic eraser might work? All walls in children’s home should have a gloss coat, easier clean up. I hate flat paint for that reason.

  • Looks like my girls bedroom walls!! They do it with the figurines of Dora, Boots and Diego. Yup, all three of them have bald spots that have resulted on blue and red streaks across their nice lilac walls!!

Magic eraser will work…it should, at least, unless that’s cheap paint, in which case it will pull the pain off, too!!

  • How do they even think to do these things?

My daughter has done things I never would’ve thought to do in a million years. Like sticking little cars down the front of the dishwasher. I didn’t even know there was a hole there.

I hope you were able to get it off! I’ve erased many a drawing off our walls with Magic Eraser. Just make sure it doesn’t touch young hands- it can cause sever burns.

    Love Braden’s paint job!

Magic Eraser works wonders – though test on a corner first in case it takes off more than just Braden’s work. I’ve accidentally taken off more than my daughter’s art on one of our ‘textured’ walls.

Seems the son is going to be as artistic as the mum.
Here’s a harsh scenario for you.
Mum, pointing to crayon scribble on wall-”who did this?”
    Baby, proudly-”me did”smack
Mum pointing to next scribble-”who did this?”
    Baby-uncertainly-”me did”
    smack
Mum, pointing to third scribble-”who did this?”
    Baby, beginning to cry-”me did”
    smack
Thank goodness for progress and magic erasers.
(she never scribbled on walls again)
(no, it wasn’t me and my child)
