Don’t get me wrong, I’m MORE than happy to be unpacking.

Been scheduling posts
all week amidst the moving
chaos we are in.

So many of you
have already helped us with
gifts, words, and support.

We thank you from the
bottom of our collective hearts.
It means so much.

New internet should
be hooked up sometime today.
I won’t hold my breath.

What will I be doing?
Taking a bath in front of
a window, for fun?

Bath

At some point, I guess.
But until that time comes,
we’ll be unpacking.

Unpacking, you know,
is another way to say,
“wishing I was dead.”

;-)

I like unpacking. It means finding new places for my old things. It kinda makes the old things feel new again.

    Good luck. I

think I can speak for everyone when I say that we are so happy that you are out of the old mold house.

*laugh* so true, so true! I hate unpacking. Questions like, “Damn, where should I put all these?”, “Where should I stuff these unwanted things. But hey if they were unwanted, why are they with me to the new house…..@#$%.”

I love unpacking. It’s like christmas, opening all those boxes. and the fun of finding places for everything, rearranging when you find something that would look just right in the spot where you’ve already put something……..I love all that. I’m crazy that way.

Nice digs. Unpacking can happen at your leisure – no pressure, except as you need things, day to day. Not like packing, where you’re working against a time limit. So take it easy – work at your own pace, and just be ready to severely injure anybody who gives you any shit about not being unpacked yet.

Yahoo! Mold free! (Unless you packed some questionable contents from the old frig.)

Good luck getting settled. I’m currently in denial. In 30 days we should be moving. Still no idea where. Still only 1 box packed (wine glasses – knew I wasn’t needing those right now). Can’t quite make myself start packing because then I know I have to unpack. With small child attached to my leg. Good times.

    Yay, you’ve moved!

I think I can relate on the unpacking front! My boys are older, so as long as we had the game systems ready for playing, they were fine. It’s harder with a little guy, trying to explain why you can’t find whatever it is he wants…

Gorgeous house. Enjoy your new home!
