How to Create a MoD Walk 4 Maddie Team
If there is no team this year for your area, and you want to create a team for your area, follow these steps:
Go here: http://www.marchforbabies.org/
- Click “start a team”
- Use their search tools on the next page that loads to find the March of Dimes walk that is scheduled for your area (or close to it)
- Select and click the specific “event” you want (the walk in your local area)
- Next page is to set up your profile. Have to do that before you can create team.
- Enter a Personal Fundraising Goal (don’t sweat it, enter whatever you want)
- Fill out the information to create your profile, click “Register Now”
- Follow Instructions on next page to Create Team. (choose name, etc)
- When you are done, you can add photos to personal & team page, get widgets, etc.
- Make sure you note your team page URL and link it up at http://thespohrsaremultiplying.com/2010/03/marching-for-maddie/
- Tell everyone you know and try to recruit people in your area to walk with you and/or donate!
