Once again, my lovelies, it’s Haiku Friday!
The way, and how much, you sleep – as well as how you start your day – have so much impact on the shape of things in your life.
Let me dabble with that idea today.
________
I am oh so tired
Why is it so hard to sleep?
The nightmare remains.
_______
Quietly I rise
My sleep is left behind me
The day has begun.
My sleep is left behind me
The day has begun.
_______
When the morning starts
The wise ones rise up ready
Nothing beyond reach.
The wise ones rise up ready
Nothing beyond reach.
_______

Oooh haiku’s about sleep.
I feel your pain.
Kara
I soooo feel your pain.
Secret Agent Mama
Sleep issues suck, no matter what they are! I hope you get some good rest soon.
Toni
Sleep- ah, perchance to dream…
I could sleep anywhere right now but my teething boy won’t have it. We were up 6 times last night. I’m feeling your pain…
Head Gaggler
Yup, we are the same way in my house. Oh how I long for a good night.
Anglophile Football Fanatic
Here’s some sleep vibes: (((sleep)))
Good luck.

Sleep is such a high commodity when you have kids!

I got a little sleep last night. It was lovely.
I said a little. Don’t go hatin on me now. My kid was an a-hole yesterday – I was searching for my markers to make a free sign.
Phyllis Sommer
oy…i share your pain. sleeping children should stay sleeping. why do they insist on early hours!? and this weekend it’s just going to get worse. fall back, oof.
Kelly
This is a great topic that can provide endless fodder. I find it so much harder to sleep now that I’m a parent, which is of course a paradox, since I’m usually so unbelievably tired!
janet
oh sleeeeeeeeeeep. i dont get enough. possibly that’s why i fall asleep at my keyboard at work?
Avery Gray
I loves me some sleep, too! Get some rest soon, will ya? ;o)
Mama Zen
And the rest of us stagger to the coffee pot!
dawn
Those are great. My kids are older, the pets sometimes keep me up, but I have been staying up too late blogging so sleep would be welcome.
Phil "Yaaaaaaaaawn"
You know you’re tired when you have a dream in which you’re sleeping. (I was going to write that in haiku form, but I haven’t had enough caffeine yet.)
Patois
Boy, could I ever use some more sleep. Great series!
WorksForMom
I love (LOVE) any and every ku about sleep. I feel your pain!
Steph
What is sleep?? I need someone to remind me.
Leslie
I’ve been sick all weekend. While it was yucky to be sick, it was nice to sleep.
