He looks sooooo sad, poor thing. We have another doctor’s visit tomorrow. Peanut awakened with her eyes crusted shut. I just wiped out the gunk, and her eyes aren’t pink, but what is going on here! I feel as if she has been sick since October. I feel so bad for these sick little babies.

1 heart attack down (for Mama) 134 million to go. I wish I could say it gets easier but, um, no. My “baby” who is 20 years old and has children, has just signed up 8 years to the Marines.
I know some people are like, so what? But Mamas know. It is MY BABY!! OMG here I go again.
Anyway, your entry made me sniffle, I remember those early scares and how we look at them and just wonder how the hell can we let them grow up.
Now I know the awful truth. It’s a fairytale. Some ways you cannot let go, ever.

Aaaawww. I remember those days. My #1 was sick for about 4 straight months and I spent about 75% of those nights sleeping on a recliner with him on my chest because he couldn’t breath when he was lying down flat. It was a long tiring winter.

Now he’s 14. (Almost 15) and if I could shrink back down for a night and sleep with him on my chest again I’d do it in a heartbeat.
