This is… well. I may be the only one who thinks it’s funny.
John and I ate on the floor several days ago. The Mexican placed himself right in front of us and… well, if you could totally freak out in a very contained way for fear that non-contained freaking out would get you sent to your bed or outside in the cold?
This is what it would look like.
My favorite is the way he pokes his tongue out all of a sudden.
PS: Yes, I ate on the floor just to torture him.

Awww, he’s so incredibly cute! This reminds me of Stains, the cupcake-transfixed dog from The Soup….

Aren’t they just so fun to tease and play with?

Hehe! He is so cute!
No matter how many times a day you feed a dog they will still watch you eat your own food as though they are starving hungry and that is the last piece of food in the entire world. (I have tested this theory) What pisses me off more is when you give in and give them a little piece and they turn their nose up at it.

His begging is very restrained, especially considering that the food is finally at his eye level.

Oh the torture, the cruelty – I love it. Of course, my big old border collie would have just eaten everything in one gulp and run for his life.

He looks so sad with his little eyebrows arched! Maybe he was trying to “taste” the scent of the food in the air. I hope you rewarded his control with something.

My wiener dog does a nervous dance for food. Not quite as calm as The Mexican.

I have said the same thing about my Min Pin/Chi. Except I think I used the term “Jonesing Crack Addict”.

I’m totally digging the laugh track playing in the background. Did you steal that from some sitcom, or can you actually buy those things? Gotta get me one!

I think he was actulaly vibrating at one point?
My dogs do this as well. But they are big. And they drool when they see food. Sometimes we put food in front of them just to see which one drools first, or the most. It is cruel, but in this economy, you need to find cheap entertainment.
#23 by Jenn on March 12, 2009 - 4:28 PM
This is totally hilarious to me. Maybe it’s just that you have to “get” dogs to get this but I can totally see his internal freak-out. He should really get an award for this. My monster dalmation can’t contain his own drool or incessant whining. Ever.
