How I’m doing.

(In case you were wondering.)

Today, we went to Walmart to get:

Juice
Creamer
Vitamins
Margarine

On the way to the back of the store, we passed the baby section.

I gave it the finger, as hard as I could, the whole way by.

Never even looked in that direction.

Hand high up in the air, That Lone Finger stabbing relentlessly at the air that it was slicing through, I walked on by, emanating the directive.

You know. THE directive.

I think that’s right on par with where I should be in the healing process.**

How are you doing? Better than expected, I’d say…

A) You got out of the house and went to WalMart, dude.
B) So, you flipped off the baby aisle. Completely healthy, in my book. Better than curled up in a ball, and sobbing in the baby aisle, hugging the diapers or something.

Hang in there, even if you’re gripping with one hand and your knuckles are turning white.

Even if you do look ticked off, your profile pic is stunning. The absence of a double chin is something I only dream about.

W-M is the worst place on Earth, in my humble opinion, so flipping the bird anywhere in the store is probably for the best, regardless of the situation.

You are trying to deal with it and it good. I’m sure you’ll deal with it. Why? Because you are speaking about it.
When I lost m child 6 years ago I wasn’t able to speak… Before this I often sang with m friends when we met in the evenings. I wasn’t able to sing anymore after this. The first time I started to sing again when I came home with my little Sofia. I sang and cried at the same time because for 4 years I wasn’t able to speak about that pain.

Funny…I went to Walmart on Friday, dreading to see that awful baby section. I tried my hardest to *NOT look, but it was like a train wreck. I HAD to. Did my eyes find something hurtful upon first glance? NO. It found something GUT WRENCHING HORRIBLY HURTFUL. A tiny onesie that read “BORN IN 2009.” Nuff said. :*( :*(
