I totally get where you are at lotus. My muse has taken a break, and I can’t seem to find it. I just want to be outside soaking up the sun, or writing non-bloggy things.

Everyone needs a break now and then. And it’s certainly no crime to want to spend as much time as you can enjoying the real life that goes on outside the monitor. Go have fun! Your readers will be here when you get back.

Haiku’s have always just been just one step up from Acrostic poems for me, and up until today my personal all time Haiku favorite was probably your “My butt as a waterfall”. But I must say this Haiku is beautiful.

I feel it, too. For crying out loud my haiku friday last week was so terrible, I’ve thought about deleting it.

I hope you get your writing mojo back ASAP.

I’d like to see anyone who hasn’t been blogging for a while that hasn’t hit blogger’s block to stand up and raise their hand.

I’ve been blogging for a better part of my adulthood. I learned that if you do it for yourself and not for the ad revenue or comments audience it is a lot easier.

My regular 8 readers now are just happy to hear from me almost daily … even if they are almost all family.

A great book is Anne Lamott’s “Bird by Bird.” She’s funny, no-nonsense and even if she doesn’t make your muse come back she’ll make you feel normal for havinig lost her to begin with!
