Photo Talk Plus – Live Tonight at 8PM PST – Join Us!

Photo Talk Plus is a Google+ hangout based Photography show hosted by Thomas Hawk and myself. Tonight’s premier episode will be live at 8PM CST, broadcasted by Keith Barrett on the Vidcast Network. You don’t have to have a Google+ account to watch the show (though I highly recommend it, and if you want to jump into the hangout when we eventually open it to the public later on in the evening, you definitely need an account).

When the show goes live tonight, you’ll be able to access it at Vidcast Network. You can also keep up with announcements via Google+ by keeping an eye on Thomas Hawk, or me – Lotus Carroll.

The first 30 minutes of Photo Talk Plus will be talk about what’s interesting and hot in the Photography world on Google+ from the past week. Google+ has an amazingly vibrant Photography Community populated with photographers who are engaged and sharing amazing content and ideas consistently all day long, every day. We’ll be grabbing top stories and interesting tips and tricks to talk about. This week, we’ll be joined by photographer panelists Amy Heiden (Urbex & Night Photographer), Helen Sotiriadis (Photographer, Architect, Teacher & Author), Brian Rose (Google+ Photos Community Manager) and Chris MacAskill (Photographer, President & Co-founder of SmugMug).

The second 30 minutes will be an interview with a talented photographer who is active on the Google+ social scene. Our special guest for the first show is Scott Jarvie, an amazing wedding (and more) photographer who will answer our questions live, show his work, and let us in on some of his secrets.
