Reasons why today was good… ?

Ugh, heat rising and no A/C sucks. We are stuck in the 50′s here which is a different kind of sucks. Stay, um, cool. Er. Hot.

Oh that sucks!! I’m not one that minds the heat so much…until it’s time to sleep!! I like to be able to snuggle under the covers…and you just can’t do that at 87degrees!! Ugh. Hope you manage to get SOME sleep tonight!!

i’m thinking no sleeping would be happening at 87 degrees. or at least not good sleep. it gets hot here during the days – and sometimes it’s still rather warm at bed time – but at least it cools down at night!

If you’re planning on ever visiting Australia better do it in our winter then. Summers here get so much hotter than 87 degrees.

Here’s hoping your AC gets fixed ASAP. It’s already in the 90s here in Tampa, FL and I think no AC would break me. . and I don’t have any kids.

Ugh…sorry your A/C went out. That stinks. Aren’t you renting? Because the landlord should fix this problem immediately since heat-related issues are a top priority!

We’re leaving Monday for a road trip with the family to your neck of the woods…stopping in Memphis our first night & then our final stop is Gatlinburg.

For the last two weeks here, it’s been cold we even had a frost warning because it got down to 30 degrees at night! Then blammo! Today it’s 90 degrees and humid. Where was Spring?

Ugh. Reminds me of the days when I was young and living seriously low-budget. No A./C in the San Fernando Valley = SICK. I used to soak my top sheet in water, wring it out, and then lay it over me and set the fan to blow directly over the bed. Only way I could sleep.

Maybe you could rent a window unit for the bedroom until they fix it?

We don’t have A/C in our house either. Unless you count the small window unit that we put in our bedroom once the temp hits 77 degrees with full humidity.
