ANOTHER MOLAR THIS WEEK. It has been hell, to say the least.
It peeked through on Tuesday, and has been hurting him all week.
Peer in there, on the lower, left side.
Hence, these Haiku.
Molar makes its way
Gouging, grinding, tearing gum
Poor lil’ man in pain.
Trying hard to help
Nothing I do makes it end
Ice cream is like gold.
He tries hard to sleep
His mouth objects to slumber
No solace tonight.
Please sleep just a bit?
Oh no, he’s screaming again.
Padded room awaits me.

Once again, my lovelies, it’s Haiku Friday!
Just recently, John and I watched the movie “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.”
This movie? Is amazing. I highly recommend it. It’s insanely deep and makes you seriously think (if you have a brain in your head and a heart in your chest).
I wrote these haiku after watching that movie, and reflecting on the choices we make in and for love.
Spin out of control
The eager mind wandering
Dare I bring it back?

Once again, my lovelies, it’s Haiku Friday!
The way, and how much, you sleep – as well as how you start your day – have so much impact on the shape of things in your life.
Let me dabble with that idea today.
I am oh so tired
Why is it so hard to sleep?
The nightmare remains.
_______
My sleep is left behind me
The day has begun.
The wise ones rise up ready
Nothing beyond reach.

Once again, my lovelies, it’s Haiku Friday!
I’m going to celebrate Beauty in Nature this Friday. It’s one of my favorite things about existing.
____
Eastward it rises
Tomorrow, it will return
We wait in darkness.
____
Web spins so quickly
Flies die – no chance to escape
Spiders are hungry.
____
Each petal opens
Slowly she stretches upward
The gladiolus.

Once again, it’s Haiku Friday!
My haiku today will honor Braden, in celebration of his One Year Birthday, Wednesday, October 16th, 2006.
The first piece was written a few years ago. Funny how things change! The next one I wrote this morning, as a response to it. The last one is just how I feel right now.
Children – we want them
And yet are we ready for
Such a drastic change?

I noticed a little too late for THIS Friday (it’s 1:59 am, Saturday. Yes, I should be sleeping.) that it’s Haiku Friday!
I love Haiku! I am going to participate in Haiku Fridays.
Here are a few for this time, more next time.
___
I lie in his arms
The moment seems to fly by
I long for it now.
___
Alone here I sit
Typing words to those unknown
And I know not why.
___
Anxiously I wait
He will be here before long
Forever, it seems.
