I didn’t know the Spohr family, but heard what happened…it has reminded me to be a bit more patient with my kids and love them every second I can. Even when they pee on my couch.

Lotus, I just wanted to say that I think you are doing a fantastic job of organinzing and planning everything in Maddie’s memory and in support of her family. I’m sure you’ve heard it from so many others but I’ve been watching from a distance and am just grateful for all of my blogging friends near and far. The outpouring of support has been tremendous and I’m so honored to be a part of this wonderful community. I’m going to look into starting a team in Colorado (since I don’t see one yet on the list). I will let you know of the details if I can pull it off. From the bottom of my heart – a complete stranger in all of this – thank you. I’d give you a big hug if I could!
