What kind of lens are you using to get the water drops?
Sarcastic Mom says: I wish I had a camera that would take all sorts of lenses! Check out the link in the upper/right corner of the post. I use a Kodak Easyshare DX7630. It’s 6.1mp, which is fairly good, and that’s why I can get relatively nice macro shots (there’s a macro setting on the cam). Unfortunately, there’s no manual focus setting, and that is quite aggravating at times. (Often the camera refuses to focus on the specific detail I’m trying to capture.)
Needless to say, I’d almost kill for a nicer camera. But I’m making due with what I have. Lots of practice is the best accessory.

I am shocked at what a difference Braden’s haircut makes – he looks like a little boy now, and not so much a baby! It’s very cute!

And I love Braden ’s new haircut, but my favourite picture is the one with the chalky foot!

You got his hair cut!?!? I missed your post since I was on vacation! It looks so cute and he looks all grown up now! Both of my boys had the curls in the back and I, too, hated cutting them so I feel your pain.

Beautiful pics! My fav Braden shots are the Chipmunk Cheeks & Chalk feet! My 2cd favs are the rain covered plants! I’m curious too~what kind of camera & lens do you use? Your pics are always gorgeous! I have a Canon PowerShot S3 IS & it has pretty good digital zoom on it but I still can’t get my pics to turn out as good as yours. Maybe I need to adjust the settings?!?

Check out the link at the very top/right corner of the post. I started putting that in just last week because so many people ask me what camera I use. It’s a Kodak Easyshare DX7630. Just a very basic point and shoot camera actually (purchased in 2004). I think the thing that has improved my photos the most over time is just constantly taking more shots. I take tons of shots of each cool thing I see, and I play around with the angles, distance, and settings each time. Eventually, you start to hone in on what works best for you with your camera, I think.
