Beautiful photos this week. Some time ago you mentioned using the macro setting on the camera. My camera has one, but I’ve lost the instruction book. What difference does it make to the photos, why should we use it? Is it a faster shutter speed or something? I took a photo with the regular setting and then a macro and couldn’t see any difference. I’m a lousy photographer anyway, but I’d like to learn a little.

His eyes have changed colour! Maybe it’s the light, but I swear in the last photo they look different. More aqua blue now.
