He’s so cute. Amy has gotten to the point when walls can’t contain her. She laughs in the face of deadlocks and scales fences twice her height. (truth)

Ya know, Lotus, I know you know that Braden is adorable…but he just makes me wish I could have another baby, and especially a boy baby. So beautiful.

Such a sweetie. You have this dynamic down pat. Lucky me: I got me one of these little treasure hunters too. In fact, one of my precious treasures that I plan to keep as long as I can is a tiny wild violet he gave me, that I found later on the windowsill that had dried perfectly and didn’t discolor at all. It’s half the size of my pinky fingernail, and I’m so scared it will crumble in this move we’re doing across country in the next month! Oh, the stress!

Those pretty flowers for mommy are The Awesome. Especially when you realize that he’s clutched it in his little fist saving it for you for an hour until pick-up time at preschool. That’s LOVE.
My aunt told me when I found out I was having a boy that the relationship between a mother and her son was “special”. (Mama had only girls)
